The Bristol Bulldog entered service with the RAF in 1929 with over 400 finally entering RAF service. The Bulldog was rugged, reliable, easy to maintain and had good acrobatic qualities making it very popular with its pilots and crowds at aerial displays.

Maximum Speed: 174 mph
Maximum Altitude: c 29,300 feet
Range: c 300 miles
